We've got a full week ahead, and we couldn't be more excited about the company we're keeping.

Tomorrow, we're proud to sponsor Bisnow Seattle's State of the Market, where the region's top real estate leaders will dig into capital markets, Opportunity Zones 2.0, and the projects shaping the Puget Sound. Zoning clarity matters most exactly where decisions about what gets built are actually being made, and we're glad to be part of that conversation.

From there, we're heading down the coast to Seaside for the Oregon APA Annual Planning Conference, running September 15 through 17.

Quang Truong will be joining Haylee Ulrey of Autom Insights, a partner we've been lucky to build alongside all year, for a panel called "Barriers to Housing Production in Oregon," part of the conference's Land Use, Housing, and Employment track. It's a conversation with Oregon's planners, zoning staff, and planning commissioners, under this year's conference theme, "Anchored in Place, Navigating Change," about the same questions we work on every day.

It's really the same problem seen from two sides. In Seattle, it's capital: the investors and developers deciding what gets built and how it gets financed. In Seaside, it's policy: the planners and zoning staff deciding what's allowed to get built in the first place. Housing production depends on both sides working from the same clear picture, and we're glad to spend this week in both rooms.
