Flag for Review: Building Zoning Intelligence Together

One of the things that sets UrbanForm’s zoning service apart is the rounds of analysis, iteration, and review behind every jurisdiction we serve. That work happens internally and alongside the people in each jurisdiction who work with the code every day. We take this approach because so much of the intelligence in zoning lives beyond any single document. It lives in the nuances of the code, in past determinations, in staff knowledge, and in how the code is actually applied.
Today we’re making that collaboration easier and faster. Logged-in government users now have a dedicated button that flags any information on UrbanForm for further review. When something deserves a second look, staff can flag it right where they see it, and our team picks it up from there.
Flag for Review adds to the ways our partners already reach us. Email and direct phone conversations with our team both remain available, and the new button is simply the quickest option when the information in question is already on screen. Staff can share what they know at the moment they notice it, without stepping away from their work.
Each flag strengthens the service for everyone who relies on it. Residents, developers, and staff at the counter all see the benefit of a record shaped by local expertise, with greater transparency and broader access to clear zoning information. Better information leads to better buildings, and better buildings lead to better cities.
