Explicit Data Sources and Dates

We hear this question about UrbanForm’s zoning data almost more than any other. Ready for the answer?

The question is: "How do I know that the information you are showing is up to date?"

Previously, we would explain that it was simply our job to follow all the news and updates about each jurisdiction's zoning and then make sure we updated our sources when changes were in effect.

It is just part of the work we do to give clarity and confidence to our data.

But now I believe we have a much better answer:

"Here, you can see for yourself."

Right on UrbanForm's website, we're publishing all of our data sources, providing links to those sources, and time stamping them.

So now anyone can see when we verified our zoning data's currency and where exactly those sources are coming from.

We're happy to be rolling this new data feature out to our existing jurisdictions, available immediately to our subscribers or where the jurisdictions are open access (e.g., the Yamhill region).
